In the Gospel of Matthew, our Lord tells His people: “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem,. . . I tell you, you will not see me again, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord’ ” (Mt 23:37, 39). And in the Catechism of the Catholic Church we read that: “The glorious Messiah’s coming is suspended at every moment of history until His recognition by ‘all Israel’. . .” (CCC, no. 674). May our lives and our efforts hasten the day when “all Israel” shall proclaim, “Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord!”
